Program Overview
The primary objective of this initiative is to provide educational support to children of widows, abandoned women, and financially disadvantaged mothers. Our commitment is to break the cycle of poverty by ensuring access to quality education and fostering self-reliance, thereby paving the way for a brighter future. To date, a total of 35 children have received educational assistance under this program. At present, the initiative is being effectively implemented across all police stations and sub-districts of Rajshahi District.
Background and Rationale
In Bangladesh, many widows and impoverished mothers are unable to bear the cost of their children’s education. This program is designed to help sustain the educational journey of their children, ensuring continuity and reducing dropout rates.
